Basic Skills
This one-day training session is designed for those who are new to
Microsoft Publisher and will give participants an understanding of the
functions of the software. During the session participants will learn the
different uses of the program, including designing and creating
publications of many types.
Those
attending this course should have a basic understanding of the Windows
environment and be comfortable with using a mouse.
By
the end of the course delegates will be able to:

Blank Publications

Use
the Publication Wizards

Modify
and Enhance the text, change fonts, colours shading and borders

Understand
different types of publications such as leaflets, newsletters, flyers
and posters, cards and certificates.

the design gallery and add and customise items.

Add
and link text boxes to publications

Use
the drawing tools to draw shapes, add autoshapes, WordArt and tables.

Select
printing options and print their publications.
