Advanced Workshop
This
two day course is valuable to those involved with presenting information
via the intranet or the World Wide Web, including web developers and
content developers.
Delegates
will build on the basic Dreamweaver skills, as well as learning how to
create exciting interactive pages using timelines and behaviours.
Those
attending this course must have attended the two day basic Dreamweaver
course or have relevant working experience. Experience of using a major
web browser is essential.
By
the end of the course delegates will be able to:

Use
the Design Tools for HTML layouts, including preparing pages for
submission to a search engine and adding meta-tags and refresh tags to
a page.

Use
layers, understand their properties, work with nested layers.

Change
the layer stacking order.

Attach
behaviours to documents or to objects. Modify behaviours.

Redirect
users based on browsers and display status messages.

Create
and select form objects and specify the form method and action.
-
Insert
and format form elements.
-
Add
graphics and file objects to forms and use behaviours to validate
forms.
-
Mail
forms and use cgi scripts.
-
Use
the timeline inspector and add layers to the timeline.
-
Select
and insert keyframes.
-
Change
layer properties over time.
-
Update
and create styles and work with libraries.
