Excel 2007 - Upgrade
Course Information
This ½ day course is designed to introduce delegates to the changes that have been made to Microsoft Excel as a result of the introduction of Excel 2007. The sessions will also introduce you to some of the new features and will help you locate the features that may have changed location, function differently or have been renamed.
Delegates will be able to use Excel 2007 more efficiently and confidently by being able to locate regularly used features and commands and by making use of the new features.
Pre-requisites
This is intended as an “upgrade” course so it is assumed that those attending this course are familiar with MS Excel 2003
Course Objectives
By the end of the course delegates will be able to:
- Recognise the elements that comprise the MS Excel Fluent User Interface
- Use the functions within the Office Button
- Customise the Quick Access Toolbar
- Identify the ribbons and contextual tabs
- Create Spreadsheets in Excel 2007
- Identify and use new features
- Save documents in compatibility mode
