4.0 Advanced
This
two day course is designed to familiarise users with the more advanced
features of HTML
Those attending the course will build on the basic HTML skills, and must
have attended the two day basic HTML course or have relevant working
experience.
Experience
of using a major web browser is essential.
By
the end of the course delegates will be able to:

Add
titles to an HTML document, format text and add in-line images.

Create
internal and external links.

Create
ordered, unordered and definition lists.

Understand
table attributes, structure and nested tables.

Use
colour in websites, understand web-safe and non web-safe colour
palettes.

Create
forms, add check boxes, radio buttons, choice lists and text areas.

Submit
forms.
-
Create
framesets, layout of documents, understand frameset elements and
target frames from hyperlinks.

Understand
the IFRAME element.
-
Use
metatags for search engines, use the HTTP-EQUIV command and redirect
to new pages.

Use
style elements to format a web site, create and use style sheets and
CSS property values.

Create
image maps by defining hotspots
