Macromedia Flash 5 - Fast Track Introduction

This two day course is designed to introduce delegates to the concepts of creating Flash web sites.

Delegates will be learn how to create vector based animations for use on the web.

Those attending this course should have a basic understanding of the Windows environment and be comfortable with a mouse. Knowledge of a paint program such as Photoshop, Illustrator or Paint Shop Pro and some experience of the Web environment would be an advantage.

Creating KeyFrames, Frames, Blank Frames. Uses and properties. Using the Library.
Frame by frame animation. Using Text as a button. Motion Tweening.
Morphing Text with Shape Hints. Shape Tweening. Introducing Movie Clips.
Tweening motion along a path. Using Sounds. Adding Sounds to Buttons.
Masks and Mask Layers. Modifying Sounds. Basic ActionScript.
Adding Sounds to the Timeline. Frames and Actions. Attaching actions to buttons.
Designing a Basic Preloader. GET URL. Breaking a movie into scenes.
Publish and Export settings. Optimising your movie. Using Bandwidth Profiler.
